For your nails

  • Use cuticle oil daily. Not only will this hydrate your cuticles, it will keep the gel/acrylic from going brittle and chipping.

  • Wear gloves when cleaning. Cleaning chemicals can cause gel/acrylic to de bond and chip or peel.

  • Do not pick off your gel or acrylic. This will tear off layers of your nails causing them to be weak, soft and potentially painful.

  • Avoid prolonged periods of time in swimming pools or spa baths. This will shorten your nails lifespan by causing them to lift.

For your lash lift

  • Avoid excessive steam for 24 hour post lash lift treatment. The steam will make the lift drop out. This includes super hot showers, saunas and spa baths.

  • Do get a lash tint in four to six weeks as this will refresh the look of your lash lift.

  • Do not use lash curlers. You should not need to but they can snap your lashes.

  • Use a growth serum if you are wanting to grow your lashes.

  • Do not use waterproof mascara.

For your lash extensions

  • Do not get your lashes wet, hot, sweaty or steamy within the first 24 hours while the glue is setting.

  • Avoid picking or playing with the extensions. Do not pick them off - if you need them removed, book in for a removal to avoid natural lashes being pulled out also

  • Try to sleep on your back to avoid crushing the lashes.

  • Avoid products with oil and glycerin in them as this will cause the bonds of the glue to break down.

  • Book in regular infills (every 2-3 weeks) to keep your lashes looking their best and to avoid unnecessary stress or strain on your natural lashes.

  • Do not put mascara on your lashes.

  • Using a lash serum can help to maintain your lashes strength

  • Clean your lashes using a lash shampoo at least 3x per week (not within first 48 hours). Pay particular attention to the lash line and between your lashes as you can get oil, skin and debris build up which can loosen the bonds of your lashes

For your waxing

  • Avoid excessive sweating for 24 hours post waxing.

  • Wear loose clothing for 24 hours post waxing.

  • Avoid excessive heat for 24 hour post waxing. Including sun bathing, saunas and spa baths.

  • Exfoliate three times a week but not within the first 24 hours post waxing. This helps prevent ingrown hairs.

  • Use an ingrown prevention treatment. This will also keep your skin and hair nice and smooth.
